The original collectible V10 crankshaft was fitted to the F2003 GA, the 49th single-seater built by Ferrari, to compete in the Formula 1 World Championship.
Fiercely fought until the last race, the exciting 2003 Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka, saw Scuderia Ferrari achieve victory in the Drivers' Championship, won by Michael Schumacher, and a fifth consecutive title in the Constructors' Championship. The V10 engine played a key role in that unforgettable season. With a total displacement of 2997 cc, maximum output of 621 kW (845 hp) at 18,300 rpm and a specific power of 282 hp/litre, the F2003 GA engine has a pre-eminent role in the glorious history of Scuderia Ferrari, and represents a genuine cult object for the most passionate collectors.
