In a record-breaking year whose success was owed to the extraordinary single-seater with a new 051 engine, Ferrari won 9 doubles, 10 pole positions and 15 out of 17 races in 2002, 11 of which by Michael Schumacher, who was also crowned World Champion for the fifth time in July of that year.
This collector’s item is part of a series that features the mechanical components from Ferrari engines that have gone down in Formula 1 history.
The original connecting rod comes on an elegant base made of real carbon fiber, with a red insert and enameled Shield that is handmade in Italy by master artisans. It is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal. It can be easily removed from its base so that you can hold it and admire it up close.
