FOCUS ON SUSTAINABILITY

In Ferrari's aesthetic, sustainability is an expression of beauty itself, as true elegance springs from how we produce as much as from what we create. Our commitment to minimizing environmental impact drives us to seek alternative and responsible solutions that enhance circularity and extend the lifespan of our materials.
That’s why Ferrari partners with trusted suppliers and collaborators who rigorously align with the company's standards for quality and sustainability while fully respecting people, the planet, and its invaluable resources.

Q-CYCLE®

The Q-CYCLE® fiber represents a fully circular, transparent, and traceable solution, ensuring that everything already in the system is reused and processed to extend its life cycle. This groundbreaking fiber is derived from a thermochemical recycling technology that converts discarded and unused tires into pyrolysis oil, which serves as a substitute for harmful fossil fuels that are detrimental to the environment.

Additionally, this self-sufficient method helps reduce CO2 emissions, as waste that cannot be transformed into raw materials is pyrolyzed into gas, which is then used to generate the energy needed for the entire conversion process.

The sustainability and safety credentials of Q-CYCLE® are validated by international certifications, including ISCC PLUS, LCA, and Oeko-TEX STD CLASS II STD 100 Appendix 6.

RE-CYCLE & RESPECT

Ferrari's commitment to sustainability is reflected in its development of low-impact processes and the objective of giving a second life to waste materials from automotive production and assembly—everything from bodywork bolts to leather scraps salvaged from the upholstery department in Maranello. Certified GRS nylons, wools, and silks are produced from refurbished materials, as are jacquard fabrics and padding made from recycled plastic bottles.

The collections showcased on the runway feature certified OEKO-TEX organic denim, which is treated with special finishes to minimize water consumption and the use of chemicals, along with cotton sourced from organic farming and cruelty-free plongé leathers that adhere to rigorous traceability and transparency standards within the supply chain.
