A unique piece dedicated to collectors and enthusiasts, this is the original valve that was mounted on the legendary F1-2002, the single-seater that starred in an incredibly triumphant season for Scuderia Ferrari.
The F1-2002 dominated the championship from start to finish, which made for one of the Maranello team's most memorable years. The original valve that was on board this vehicle is a very valuable item for enthusiasts, retaining all the fascination of that success, specifically 15 wins over 17 Grand Prix, 9 doubles and 10 pole positions.
In 2002 Michael Schumacher became world champion for the fifth time already at Magny-Cours, on 21 July, at the wheel of a completely updated vehicle, while the Constructors' title came a short time later, at Budapest, on 18 August. This collector's item was a part of those feats and represents an authentic piece of race history.
The valve bears the signs of its glorious achievements, displaying deposits typical of combustion. It is presented clean, with no oil, liquids or other materials, in an elegant red box complete with plaque and a certificate of origin signed by the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal.
Each valve is a unique piece, very few examples of which exist in the world. Images may not correspond perfectly with the purchased item.
