Assembled and finished by hand in the Amalgam workshops, the scale model of the Ferrari 375 Plus celebrates one of Ferrari’s most prestigious vehicles, built following the great success obtained by the 375 MM, which in 1953 gained Ferrari the first place in the World Sports Car Championship. Enzo Ferrari’s strong desire to perfect a line of large displacement sports cars led to the first official victory at Le Mans, after the triumphs at Agadir and Silverstone and before the win at the Carrera Panamericana. Also known as “Le Monstre” or “The Fearsome Four-Nine”, the car is here faithfully reproduced in 1:8 scale – built using archive drawings and a digital scanning of the original vehicle, the model is the result of over 400 hours of craftsmanship and features painstakingly accurate details and components, thanks to the design, engineering and aesthetic specifications provided by Ferrari.
This collector’s item comes in an exclusive packaging that includes a black box, transparent dustproof case and display base in carbon fibre with a polished steel plate engraved with the model’s name. Each piece is also accompanied by an information booklet complete with a Certificate of Authenticity.
