A unique collector's item, this crankshaft was fitted to the F2001, known as the "anteater", which in 2001 was the star of Scuderia Ferrari's successes in an extraordinary Formula 1 season.
In 2001 the Scuderia proved to be the team to beat. In Hungary, the 13th race of the 17 on the calendar, Michael Schumacher won the Drivers' title (the fourth of his career), and with Barrichello's second place, the Maranello-based company was once again the Constructors' World Champion.
The star of this thrilling season was the F2001: with its unmistakable front end, which dropped down to meet the front wing, it had a high hull and was recessed at the bottom, with relatively short and high sides.
The original V10 crankshaft that was fitted to the car is a memento of these legendary feats, and comes with a Certificate of origin signed by the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal.
Each crankshaft is a unique item, and there are very few of them world-wide. The pictures may not correspond exactly with the item purchased.
