A piece of art for collectors worldwide, this original engine from the 1999 F399 car is accompanied by a certificate of origin signed by the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal. The prestigious piece comes complete with exhaust pipes and accessories and is mounted on a pedestal with a stainless steel base, engraved with the key features of the single-seater.
In 1999 Ferrari claimed the Constructors' title once more, 16 years after its last title. Playing a starring role were Michael Schumacher, Eddie Irvine and Mika Salo, who replaced the German driver for six races after he was injured in an accident at Silverstone. Success that year was also down to the F399 single-seater: an evolution of the F300, it had a lighter engine and increased horsepower, as well as redesigned aerodynamics to improve the ratio of drag to vertical thrust.
