  • The original connecting rod and piston from the F2005 is now enjoying a second life as a collector's item. The set is part of a series of mechanical components from Ferrari Formula 1 engines of past seasons and is presented on an elegant carbon fibre display base, handmade in Italy by expert craftspeople and finished with a red insert and the signature enamelled Ferrari Shield.

    Designed by Aldo Costa, the 51st Scuderia Ferrari single-seater had a below-par season, unable to perform at the same competitive levels as its rivals. The year ended with just one victory, at Indianapolis, and third place in the Constructors' Standings.
