Second Life table piece with an enamelled shield on an aluminium alloy base made in Italy
Authentic materials and offcuts from work at the Ferrari site take on a new life in this shield, a unique collector’s item.
The iconic sculpture with the Ferrari Shield is born of the same raw materials used to build car engines. Entirely handmade in Italy, the item is stove-enamelled using one of the oldest and most complex metalwork techniques, by the same Tuscan master craftsmen who make the shields and emblems on Ferrari GT cars.
The sinuous base on which the shield sits is made with the same aluminium alloy used to forge engines at the Ferrari foundry in Maranello.
Kept in a red gift box and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, this enamelled shield made in Italy is a prestigious piece for fans of the Ferrari world.
