Original Piston from the F1-2002, winner of the 2002 Constructors' and Drivers’ Championships
The original piston of the F1-2002 single-seater, winner of the World Constructors' and Drivers’ Championships, is brought to life again as an exclusive piece of collectible art for the admirers of Scuderia Ferrari history.
The 2002 Formula One season was dominated by Ferrari, who won 15 out of 17 races, 11 by Michael Schumacher, who, by July, had already been crowned World Champion for the fifth time. It was a record-breaking year, thanks to the extraordinary F1-2002.
This piece is part of a series that features the mechanical components from Ferrari single-seater engines that have become stars of the company’s history.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal, it is displayed on anelegant carbon-fiber base with a special red insert and an enameled Shield, handmade in Italy by expert artisans. The piston lays recessed into the base and can be easily removed so that you can admire even the smallest details.
Each piston is unique, with a limited number of pieces available. Because of this, the item you purchased may not look exactly like the images.
