The connecting rod from the 248 F1, protagonist of the 2006 season, enjoys a new lease of life as an exclusive piece of art. With his retirement announced after the victory at Monza, in 2006 Schumacher's time at Maranello came to an end: with 180 GPs raced with Ferrari, the German driver had conquered five Pilots’ titles.
This connecting rod belongs to a series of mechanical parts from Ferrari Formula 1 engines that have gone down in history. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal, the item is displayed on a carbon fibre base handmade in Italy, with a red insert and enamelled Shield, and simply slots into the base, so that it can be easily removed and examined in detail.
