Assembled and finished by hand in the Amalgam laboratories, the scale model of the Daytona SP3 engine celebrates one of the most emblematic Ferraris, a symbol of the design genius of the 1960s, the golden era of motor racing and development of the most innovative prototypes. The selected two-seater among the Ferrari icons after the Monza series evokes the spectacular results obtained in the 24 Hours of Daytona during the 1967 world championship—with the first 3 places taken by the 330 P3/4, the 330 P4 and the 412P—thanks to the most powerful internal combustion engine ever built by Ferrari, mounted in the mid-rear position and capable of reaching a speed of 340km/h. The V12 engine is faithfully reproduced in this 1:4-scale model built in close collaboration with the Ferrari team through of over 300 hours of craftsmanship that achieves the maximum accuracy of every detail and component through the individual design specifications, including the labels and the barcodes of the individual parts.
Available in a limited edition of 599 pieces, this collector's model comes in exclusive packaging with a black box, clear dust-proof case and a carbon fiber display base with a polished steel plate engraved with the model's name. Each model comes with an information booklet complete with a certificate of authenticity.
